Eatin’ the Shore pt. 2

Harmony Donuts - 29th & Lonsdale (in North Vancouver)
How cute are these? Actually, if you think these are cute you should check out the shop, it’s full full full of vintage toys and figurines. The owner of the shop is super chatty and very friendly.
I didn’t get these for myself, I picked them up to take to a friend’s BUT I did taste a maple donut and it was 10x better than Tim Hortons; however, I’m not exactly a donut connoisseur, the last donut I ate was years and years ago.

Moja Coffee Roasters - Rupert & Harbour (in North Vancouver)
In that cup is easily the best Americano I have ever had - EVER. Moja roasts their coffee locally and supplies beans to a bunch of cafes and hotels around town. I had no idea that this place existed and is 5 or less minutes away from my apartment, this would be dangerous if they didn’t close so early or on Sundays.
The bar beside it is, well I don’t know what it is because I haven’t tasted it yet. I was going to have it as a lunch-type meal but instead I had one of the donuts above. I’ll try this bar tomorrow.

Mount Royal Bagels - Queensbury & 7th (in North Vancouver)
This bagel shop is close to my apartment as well, a dozen of these last me about a month (I have half for breakfast). The bagels are incredibly fresh and chewy and walking into the shop it smells like a warm hug but then you’re faced with a tough decision - which flavours to pick out as there are a number of them. I’m boring and go for multigrain, whole wheat sesame or poppyseed. Multigrain + toasted + peanut butter = good stuff.

Lonsdale Meat & Deli 13/14th & Lonsdale (in North Vancouver)
My coworker told me about this amazing hummus, it took me 3 trips to this deli to finally see some in stock. This deli is I think Persian, it has a bunch of varieties of feta cheese, makes this really good bread and carries pomegranate juice (maybe?) in a carton; what’s not to enjoy?
