furniture dilemma - help?

I’ve been in my apartment for 6 months. I’ve also been without a table for 6 months which means when I’ve had the odd person over for dinner they’ve got to eat on my couch and on their lap because I’ve also been without a proper coffee table. How ghetto!

After 6 months of casually searching I found a table and chairs; however, dilemma.

Here is the table:

Simple; square and I absolutely love the legs. I don’t like the chairs that match the table, I find them clunky and boring so I decided to go for Eames fibreglass chairs (replicas, obviously, one day at least one original will be mine) however; I was going to go for two black and two white but I’m not sure now. 

Black - very sexy! Would go nice with my white walls and dark grey kitchen and the grey, silver and black wallpaper.

Or. 

White - slick, reminds me of space travel in the 50s-60s, might get lost against the wall, would match my white appliances and cabinets, might stain if I drop something with tumeric on it but also classy. But maybe it would be too much white especially since my floors are light. Gah, decisions that I will have to stare at every day.

Okay, I guess sometimes it’s best to write things out because from the descriptions the favourite seems to be the black. But, what would you do? Black? White? Black & white?
