soup-er sunday

The other day I went out for dinner and ordered what turned out to be some amazing soup - Harira Soup. 

I’ve been thinking about this soup for days now and after some research I built up the kitchen confidence and tackled it. Uh, yummmm! 

Here is the harira soup recipe.

Changes I made…no meat. Added a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste and celery. Tripled the amount of cayenne powder. Added more water, 10 cups all together. And, I used boullion cubes to flavour the water. I also didn’t add that egg and lemon mixture or any type of pasta. What tasty and hearty soup!

Soup done…put it away for work but I ended up eating it. Whoops….not all of it but this bowl - I made enough soup to eat 8 or 9 times.
